Rescue Me ID: 15-07-03-00202Dooley (male)

Bloodhound    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Dooley is 125 pound beautiful pooch - this is a good picture of him, he usually has ribbons of slobber wrapped around his nose. Because he is a bloodhound his living conditions are a little more contained than my other dogs, due to the fact, he is ruled completely by his nose and could end up almost anywhere. I've had him since he was a puppy and because he has lived in a pen other than his daily walks - he has not had much interaction with other dogs. Not because he's not friendly but just because I can't let him free roam. For a short time, a family thought they wanted to train a bloodhound and so he was with them, we had a big snow and he ... I have chickens that are free range, and I do believe, they would get quite a bit of exercise, if he could get out. He has Never hunted professionally, I'm not saying that he couldn't be trained but he has never had the experience and I would desire if someone has that interest that they have a kind heart. I'm sure he's ready to be a dad, and he is registered! he is 6 years old and never had a girlfriend - I love Dooley and if my schedule this fall was not as difficult as it will be, you would not even be reading this post but I want to do whats best for him!
