Rescue Me ID: 17-05-28-00403Clifford (male)

Bloodhound Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello everyone! My name is Clifford. I know what you're thinking%BD'%BD|I am the most handsome, distinguished dog you've ever seen! Well, my awesomeness doesn't stop there! The woman I'm currently staying with thinks I'm pretty swell! She says she's so happy that I have never had an accident in the house, even when I was left alone for a long time. And she's really happy that I'm not a 'marker,' that I haven't marked anything inside or outside the house, I 'squat pee.' Something tells me I should be offended. I live with some smaller dogs, and I sure do like them! But this woman says I try to play a little too rough with them, that maybe ... (Read More)I don't know my own size and strength. When they snap at me I do back off, give them a breather, but I do always try to make friends again! With a little bit of training and patience I could learn to behave with smaller dogs. Everyone thinks that I would love to have a dog my own size to play with! We could wear each other out or you people. And everyone needs a friend%BD'%BD|so if you have 1 big dog, you should definitely add another (me)! I do pretty well on a leash, I was a little unsure if being outside in the big world again, but with just a little bit of work and patience I'd be a great hiking and/or jogging buddy. I haven't ever been up close to a small human before, but I did see some of them playing in the neighborhood. I was curious and friendly toward them, but we did not go play because their big humans did not invite us to approach. I haven't seen a cat, but suspect I'd want to play with them too, just like these little dogs. I might just need to be put in my place to learn to leave them alone. If you're interested in making me a part of your family, contact my people, they'll get you in touch with me :) My adoption fee is 180. This covers my neuter vaccines, microchip & all my medical! I am about 6-8 months old & about 50 lbs. I still need to put on some weight- I think a healthy weight would be about 60-70 lbs for me :) (Less)

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, but not so much with cats. My name is Charlie and I am a sweet lab mix. I weigh about 67 pounds. I was owner surrendered for escaping the yard, but my rescuers suspect that I lived there 24/7 and so it was no wonder that I wanted to escape! Now I am looking for a caring home (or even a foster home where someone wants to spend some time with me. I have not had much training, but I am willing to learn and I think that people are pretty nice and I love to be petted and get treats! Bloodhound    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

Poor Sampson was found as he wandered into a feed store in Tucson looking for help. The poor boy was thin and may have been wandering for a while. After searching for his owner, Fedwell Farm was asked if we would help him. We were honored. Sampson is 6 to 7 years old He did not have a great live previously. He does not seem to have been in a home before, he loves it now. He is now housebroken, has nice house manners and is really enjoying the civilized life. He had a tumor on his testicle which turned out to be a piece of cactus that was never removed. He is now neutered, healthy, vaccinated, micro chipped and looking for a real ... Bloodhound    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Dinga is a super sweet 8 year old Bloodhound. She was turned into the Maricopa Animal Shelter by an ex wife who said she wasn't good with children. Not sure where that came from, but she is sure great with children here! Being great family dogs is part of the hound personality, we think it was just vindictiveness unfortunately. People do nasty things to get even with ex spouses. Dinga is 8 years old, she is used to being in the house, she is a typical hound couch potato. She loves to go outside, she likes walks and she doesn't appear to have any health issues. She is her foster mom's best friend. Dinga is located in south east ... (Read More)Arizona.
