Cooper is a bullmastif bloodhound mix approximately 8 years old who is up to date on vaccines and is current on heartworm preventative. He is not dog or cat friendly although he currently resides at our residence with another dog that he gets along with fine. The reason for this post is because of an altercation with another dog and person that surprised him in the dark on his evening walk. He is currently being quarintined at the Beacon Lake facility in Raleigh, NC. We are to pick him up from this location on Monday 10/19/2015. Relunctantly, we have decided to try to find him another home. He has been a great dog and friend to my wife and I ... (Read More)for the last 7 years. Bloodhound Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

I have a five-year-old Cheasapeake Bay Retriever who is good with animals and people. He's sweet and loving but would do much better in a home with a family who can be there for him consistently. He is very laid back and very sweet but does have some separation anxiety which makes it tough for him because I work long hours at the hospital. Would do best in a stable home. Has all shots updated and is fixed. Thank you. Please let me know if interested.
