Rescue Me ID: 16-07-25-00550Cap (male)

Bloodhound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Cap is a loving 2.5 year old hound mix. He's smart and loves to take over the couch and porch. He's currently an inside dog and we have found that I am allergic to him. We got him from a shelter and believe that he must have been abused before. He can be skittish and flinch if you move too fast toward him. He does love to play and go on long runs. He needs some work with basic obedience commands but overall would be a great pup! He does well with our kids but I think he is too rough when he plays. Teenage kids would probably be fine with him. He is a beautiful boy!

Bloodhounds love affection and attention. Bloodhounds have a stubborn streak and a mind of their own; they need firm training and discipline. Bloodhounds are friendly and devoted to their masters.
