|Rescue Me ID: 16-07-25-00550Cap (male)|
Cap is a loving 2.5 year old hound mix. He's smart and loves to take over the couch and porch. He's currently an inside dog and we have found that I am allergic to him. We got him from a shelter and believe that he must have been abused before. He can be skittish and flinch if you move too fast toward him. He does love to play and go on long runs. He needs some work with basic obedience commands but overall would be a great pup! He does well with our kids but I think he is too rough when he plays. Teenage kids would probably be fine with him. He is a beautiful boy!

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Bloodhound in Tennessee|
Bloodhound Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. Bloodhounds are extremely good natured dogs that are exceptionally patient and gentle with children. Bloodhounds love affection and attention. Bloodhounds have a stubborn streak and a mind of their own; they need firm training and discipline. Bloodhounds are friendly and devoted to their masters. Bloodhounds are prized for their ability to follow any scent; this makes them likely to wander off if not kept on a leash. Bloodhounds need daily exercise but are fairly laid back indoors and so do okay in an apartment as long as they have regular opportunities to be active and take walks.
